The 4th Annual Cement City Cruise-In is July 19: Get revved up for a good cause

MITCHELL— Car enthusiasts and community members are revving up for the 4th Annual Cement City Cruise-In, set for Saturday, July 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lehigh Field, 211 N. Meridian Rd. The event returns for its fourth year to celebrate classic and modern vehicles while raising funds for the La‑Or‑Ma Shrine Club.

Day‑of registration is open from 8 a.m. to noon, with a $20 fee per car, truck, or motorcycle. Entrants are eligible for cash prizes, with awards often going to the first entrants. Dash plaques are awarded to the first 200 vehicles that register.

Spectator admission is free, and attendees can enjoy food vendors, homemade ice cream, and door-prize drawings. A 50/50 raffle will also be held throughout the day.

Vendor booths are available for $25 (10 × 10 space; vendors must bring their own tables, tents, and chairs).

Hosted by Hiram’s Hot Rods, Hoosier Uplands, and Lawrence County Tourism, the event proceeds benefit the La‑Or‑Ma Shrine Club, which supports the Shrine Hospital for Children.

The Cruise-In has grown steadily since its launch in 2022, offering a family-friendly celebration of automotive culture and community spirit. Organizers say the event builds on its predecessors by expanding vendor participation, raffles, and prize offerings.

Show entrants are asked to enter via West Main Street, while spectators should park via North Meridian Road to help manage traffic and access.
