BEDFORD— The Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 109th Annual Chamber Dinner on Thursday, Aug. 14, at the 4-H Fairgrounds Expo Hall — marking the return of the organization’s largest event of the year.
The evening kicks off with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by a catered dinner, a keynote address, and the presentation of the 2025 Annual Chamber Awards. Attendees are encouraged to bring cash for a 50/50 drawing and the chance to win deluxe raffle baskets.
The Chamber is currently seeking sponsorships for the event. Platinum Sponsorships are available for $1,000 and include two tables of eight along with public recognition. Gold Sponsorships are available for $600 and include one table of eight and recognition. Individual tickets can also be purchased at $30 for Chamber members and $40 for non-members.
To reserve a sponsorship or purchase tickets, attendees are encouraged to complete the online form at https://forms.gle/ofeBFvLQDdtNQiU47, or contact Sally Miller, Membership & Communications Director, at member@bedfordchamber.com or by calling (812) 275-4493.

As part of the event, the Chamber is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Chamber Awards, which recognize outstanding contributions to the Bedford and Lawrence County community. Award categories include:
- Business Beautification Award: Honors a business that has enhanced its property’s appearance. Nominations should include a description of the improvements and, if available, photos. Last year’s winner was the Indiana Center for Recovery.
- Community Service Award: Celebrates an individual who has gone above and beyond in service to the community. Previous recipients include Marla Jones, George McNichols, and Shawna Girgis.
- Small Business of the Year: Recognizes a business with fewer than 100 employees that has shown notable growth or community impact. Harvest Health & Rehab received the award last year.
- Non-Profit of the Year: Acknowledges a local non-profit making strides in its mission while enriching lives in Lawrence County. Last year’s honoree was the Lawrence County Museum of History.
