Ribbons and Rodeo: Calf scramble to bring high-energy fun to Lawrence County 4-H Fair on Tuesday

BEDFORD— The Lawrence County 4-H Fair will host its highly anticipated Calf Scramble on Tuesday, July 8th, at 8 p.m. on the grandstand track. Participants—ranging from eager youth to seasoned adults—will compete individually or in pairs in a thrilling, timed event: wrangle a calf and remove a hidden ribbon to claim victory.

Entries open at 6 p.m. at the track, with two competition categories—solo and two-person teams—featuring prize payback for team winners. Spectators should note the $10 admission for adults and $5 for ages 3–12; children under 2 enter free. The event promises family-friendly excitement and a spirited close to a fair night.
