BLOOMFIELD – Businesses and residents in Greene, Monroe, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence, Morgan, and Owen counties who sustained damage from storms on May 16th may qualify for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
To assist affected individuals, the SBA and the Indiana Department of Homeland Security will open a Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) in Greene County starting Monday, June 23rd. The center will provide support to residents in filing claims and answering questions regarding potential assistance for recovery efforts. This DLOC is specifically for those impacted by the May 16th storms.
The Disaster Loan Outreach Center will be located at the Greene County Events Center East End Business Offices, 45-03 West State Road in Bloomfield, and will operate through June 28th.
Hours of operation are as follows:
- Monday, June 23rd – Wednesday, June 25th: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Thursday, June 26th: Noon to 8:00 p.m.
- Friday, June 27th – Saturday, June 28th: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
SBA Customer Service representatives will be available at the DLOC to answer questions about the loan program and assist with applications.
