SPRINGVILLE – Fire units from Pleasant Run, Marshall, and Perry Fire Departments, along with assistance from Indian Creek, Oolitic, and Shawswick Fire, battled a fully involved structure fire last night in the 6100 block of State Road 54 in Springville.
The home is owned by Lawrence County Treasurer Penny Cobb and her husband, John.
The fire was reported at 1-:37 p.m. on Friday. Pleasant Run units were dispatched at approximately 10:55 p.m. to provide water and manpower assistance. Firefighters were on scene for approximately four hours.
Authorities reported no injuries.
