The Social Security Administration is rolling out enhancements to its “my Social Security” portal and public contact systems to make accessing services more streamlined and secure.
Among the new features:
- Easier sign-in with login.gov integration
- Enhanced identity verification to prevent fraud
- Improved online access to benefit estimates, payment history, and replacement documents
- Shorter wait times for certain services with new call-back and online scheduling options
SSA encourages all working Americans — even those not near retirement — to create a free “my Social Security” account to monitor their earnings record and future benefits.
