BEDFORD — JC’s Christian Academy has officially been accepted into Indiana’s School Choice Voucher program, marking a major milestone for the private Christian school and expanding educational options for families in Lawrence County.

The school announced the news this week in a social media post, celebrating the long-awaited acceptance as a significant step forward. “This is a huge step forward, and we’re so thankful for what this means for our JCA families and our community,” the post read. “To God be the glory!”
The approval follows a series of major developments for the academy this year. In March, the school underwent a rigorous accreditation visit from an external review team. By early April, the American Association of Christian Schools officially recommended JC’s Christian Academy for accreditation, bringing the school closer to full recognition.
School leaders have also continued to invest in student experience, recently unveiling plans for a new playground in May to better serve their growing student body.
With the addition of School Choice funding, more families will be able to access the academy’s Christ-centered curriculum, small class sizes, and family-oriented approach to education. The school is expected to release additional enrollment information in the coming weeks.
JC’s Christian Academy is located in Bedford and serves students across southern Indiana.
