BEDFORD — A new six-week water aerobics program called “Splash” kicks off Thursday, June 19, offering a low-impact fitness option for residents of all skill levels, including non-swimmers.

Hosted at an area facility, the class will meet weekly on Thursdays at 10:45 a.m. The cost is $30 for the full session.
Organizers say the program enhances movement and intensity by utilizing chest-deep water to support the body during exercise. “Splash is designed to be fun, engaging, and safe for all levels of fitness,” instructors said in a release.
Participants are required to bring proper swimwear, a swim cap or shower cap, and non-slip water shoes.
