Loogootee schools to offer free summer meal pickups in June

LOOGOOTEE – Loogootee Schools announced today that it will provide free summer meal pickups for all students throughout June. The program aims to ensure children in the community have access to nutritious meals during the summer break.

Meal pickups will take place every Thursday in June, specifically on June 12, June 19, and June 26. Families can collect meals between 4:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. outside the front entrance of Loogootee High School.

Each eligible child will receive five breakfasts and five lunches per weekly pickup. It is essential to note that a parent or guardian must accompany children on their first pickup day to receive meals.
