BEDFORD – Beginning Monday, June 2, 2025, weather permitting, sidewalk construction and repairs will commence on Lincoln Avenue. The work zone will stretch from just south of the John Williams Boulevard roundabout down to 14th Street in Bedford.
Drivers should anticipate potential impacts, as work will primarily affect the northbound lane of Lincoln Avenue. Lane restrictions may be in place; motorists are strongly advised to proceed with caution when traveling through the area.
The construction is estimated to be completed by June 30, 2025. The City of Bedford advises drivers to avoid this area if possible to minimize delays.
Despite the construction, residential trash pickup will continue as usual. Both the postal service and all emergency personnel have been notified of these restrictions.
The City of Bedford apologizes for any inconvenience caused and thanks residents for their patience as these improvements are made to enhance pedestrian safety and infrastructure.
