BLOOMINGTON – The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department is seeking volunteers for “Nature Play Days,” a statewide initiative by the Indiana Children and Nature Network, aimed at encouraging families to engage with the outdoors.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Waterfall Shelter in Lower Cascades Park. The park is located at the intersection of North Old State Road 37 and Clubhouse Drive, with the meeting location at 2851 North Old State Road 37.
Volunteers aged 16 and up are needed to assist with various aspects of the event, including setup and teardown, overseeing nature art stations, organizing scavenger hunts, and facilitating other activities. On-site training will be provided to all volunteers.
For volunteers under the age of 18, an Underage Waiver of Liability must be signed by a parent or guardian. A digital waiver is available for completion by clicking here.
