KNOX CO. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces daily road closures for State Road 159 in Knox County.
Beginning on or around Tuesday, May 27, crews will start daily road closures on State Road 159 near Freelandville. These closures will occur between Boberg Road and Henry Street.
Four separate pipe replacements will require daily road closures. State Road 159 will close at or around 6 a.m. daily, reopening each evening after each replacement is completed.
The official detour for this project is State Road 67 to State Road 58. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
