Lincoln Elementary celebrates active students with annual Fun Run

BEDFORD – Lincoln Elementary School was energized this morning as 321 students participated in their annual Fun Run at 9:00 a.m.

The event, a tradition spanning over eight years, aims to encourage students to embrace outdoor activity and marks a joyful culmination to a school year.

“The fun run is to encourage students to get outside and be active,” said Principal Kimberly Webb, beaming with pride for the enthusiastic participants. “It also celebrates the end of a fantastic school year.”

Among the many students who laced up their running shoes was ten-year-old Jordan White, a fifth-grader in Mrs. Jamie Roab’s class.

Jordan, who has participated in the Fun Run since his second-grade year at Lincoln, shared his enthusiasm for the event. “I really like running,” White said. “It’s a lot of fun being at Lincoln. My goal is to finish in the top 10.”
