INDIANA – Did Siri ever activate unexpectedly and listen to your private conversations? If so, you could be entitled to part of a $95 million settlement reached by Apple. The class action lawsuit alleged that unintentional Siri activations allowed the digital assistant to eavesdrop on private discussions. Apple denies these claims.

To be eligible for compensation, you must have owned or purchased a Siri-enabled Apple device in the United States between September 17, 2014, and December 31, 2024, and experienced an unintended Siri activation during a private conversation.
Eligible individuals should have received an email with claim-filing instructions. A public claim form is also available online, requiring proof of device purchase.
The deadline to file a claim is July 2. Payments are capped at $20 per device, with a limit of five devices per claim. Payments are expected after the final approval hearing on August 1.
