HELTONVILLE—
The Pleasant Run Fire Department will host a community “Cruise-In” event on Saturday, May 17. The event will feature classic cars, live music, food, and family-friendly activities. WQRK 105.5 Classic Hits will be with LITEFM 102.5, ready to jam with you from 2 pm to 6 pm.
The event, which is free to enter, will take place at the fire station, located at 138 Jefferson St. in Heltonville. The cruise-in portion begins at 2 p.m., with live music scheduled from 6 to 10 p.m.
The first 50 vehicles participating in the cruise-in will receive a commemorative dash plaque.

Food offerings will include a fish fry with fried fish or tenderloin sandwiches, french fries, and onion rings. Lemon shake-ups will also be available for purchase. In addition to the food and music, the event will feature cash and gun raffles, 50/50 drawings, and more.
“We are so excited to gather the community for a day of good fun, good food, and good music,” said Pleasant Run Fire Chief Darin Kinser. “It’s a great thing to see everybody come out and support one another at this event.”
Performing on stage will be the Fortner Brothers, joined by special guests Marty Deroche, Loretta Tent, and Mike Haemmerle.
