BLOOMINGTON – Get ready for a day of high-flying fun and bubbly excitement at Switchyard Park! Organizers are seeking volunteers to help make the “Flights of Fancy: Kites and Bubbles in the Park” event a soaring success on Saturday, May 17th.
This whimsical event promises a day of wonder for attendees of all ages, and dedicated volunteers are needed to assist with both the behind-the-scenes logistics and the hands-on activities. Volunteers will be crucial in helping with event setup and teardown, ensuring the Main Performance Lawn at Switchyard Park is ready for a day of kite flying and bubble chasing.
Additionally, volunteers will have the opportunity to engage directly with attendees, assisting them in the creative process of making and decorating their kites and helping participants get their colorful creations airborne.
The call for volunteers is for Saturday, May 17th, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
