The 25-member band, under the direction of Paul Pfeifer, achieved a Silver rating for their performance and a gold rating for their sight-reading abilities.

Sight-reading, a crucial skill for musicians, is the capacity to play music accurately from sheet music without any prior rehearsal. It demands the rapid interpretation of musical symbols, a strong understanding of rhythm and tempo, and the immediate translation of that information into a cohesive musical performance.
