NORTH VERNON – Bedford North Lawrence posted a 159-162 victory over Jennings County during boys high school golf action on Thursday.
The Stars, with the entire roster making their first tour of St. Anne’s Golf Course, were paced by Evan Tillett with 36, while Tyler Bellush and Coleson Stiles both carded 39s.
“We had some guys play really well,” BNL coach Trey Turner said. “That was the first time any of them had played this course, so I was really pleased with the way we navigated it.
”We’re still searching for the fourth score right now, but I like where we are at this point in the season. We just need to get a little more consistent.”
Aaron Lewis paced the Panthers with 38.
BNL will compete in Washington Invitational at Country Oaks on Saturday.
