ORLEANS—There’s still time to participate in the beloved tradition of the Orleans Dogwood Parade! Organizers are continuing to accept entries for the 55th annual parade, which will kick off on Saturday, April 26th, at 2 p.m.
This year’s parade theme is “Dogwoods Thrive in 2025,” offering participants an excellent opportunity to showcase their creativity and community spirit. A variety of entry categories are welcome, including:
- Floats
- Political Entries
- Walking Groups
- Equestrian Units
- Classic and/or Antique Vehicles
- Bands
- And More!
The parade will follow its traditional route, commencing from Orleans Jr-Sr. High School, located on the north edge of town. The school grounds will serve as the staging area for all participants, with line-up beginning at 11 a.m. and continuing until 1 p.m. Judging of the various units will commence at approximately 1 p.m.
The parade route will proceed down Maple Street (State Road 37 South), making its way through the historic downtown area of Orleans, allowing spectators to enjoy the vibrant displays.
Those interested in participating in this year’s Dogwood Parade are encouraged to obtain an entry form as soon as possible. Forms are readily available through several convenient locations:
