JASPER – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) and the Mid-States Corridor project team will hold a public information meeting on Wednesday, April 16th, to discuss the Mid-States Corridor Section 2 study in Dubois County.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to learn about the draft purpose and need statement, as well as draft preliminary alternatives and access options for the project.
The meeting will be held at Jasper Middle School, 3600 North Portersville Road, Jasper, IN, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Attendees can view displays and speak individually with project team members. A recorded presentation will also be available for viewing.
While the meeting is for informational purposes and not a formal hearing, comment forms will be available for attendees to provide feedback. Comment forms will also be available on the project website. Comments can also be submitted by calling or visiting the project office. The project team requests that all comments be submitted by May 12, 2025.
The draft Section 2 purpose and need statement and draft preliminary alternatives will be available at the project office and on the project website prior to the meeting.
All materials will be available online the following day for those unable to attend the meeting in person. Materials will also be accessible at the Jasper and Huntingburg public libraries and at the project office on the Jasper campus of Vincennes University (850 College Ave., Jasper, IN). The project office is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
