INDIANAPOLIS – Minor construction activities will continue throughout spring and summer 2025 to officially complete the I-69 Finish Line project. Minor traffic disruptions are anticipated.
Here’s what to watch for this week:
The following entrance ramps are scheduled to close at 9 p.m. on Friday, April 11, through 5 a.m. on Monday, April 14, for pavement grooving:
- Harding Street to I-465 eastbound
- Northbound and southbound U.S. 31 to I-465 eastbound
All exit ramps will remain open.
- I-465 eastbound between U.S. 31 and I-65 will be reduced to a single lane for pavement work starting at 11 p.m. on Friday, April 11, until 5 a.m. on Monday, April 14.
- Starting Sunday, April 13, through early May, eastbound I-465 between I-69 and U.S. 31 will experience a traffic shift. During overnight hours, this area will be reduced from three lanes to two.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
