MONROE CO.– The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is seeking help locating 65-year-old Gary Edwards of Bloomington, who was reported missing on Friday evening.

Deputies responded to a missing person report at approximately 5:48 p.m. on Friday, April 4, in the area of East Mesa Lane on the southeast side of Monroe County.
Edwards was last seen at the Twin Lakes Recreation Center at 12:30 p.m. earlier that day and has not returned home.
Authorities report that Edwards has early-onset Alzheimer’s disease, which places him in a situation of likely extreme danger.
Edwards is believed to be driving his silver 2014 Buick Regal with Indiana license plate SDR414.

Due to the circumstances, an Indiana Silver Alert has been issued to aid in locating Gary Edwards.
Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies are actively checking all potential destinations Edwards may travel to and are attempting to track his cell phone.
