BLOOMINGTON – United Way of South Central Indiana is set to host its highly anticipated 3rd Annual Blue Jean Ball, a relaxed and fun-filled event dedicated to connecting people with opportunities for a better future. This year’s ball will occur on Thursday, September 18th, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the picturesque Whippoorwill Hill venue, off Fairfax Road.
Attendees can look forward to an evening of entertainment, delicious food, and community spirit. Country music singer/songwriter Jennifer Mlott will grace the stage with her powerful vocals and high-energy performance, promising to get everyone on their feet and dancing.
Guests will also enjoy a mouthwatering BBQ feast from Great White Smoke, a delightful sundae bar courtesy of Bruster’s Ice Cream, a lively silent auction, and an exciting raffle.
The Blue Jean Ball aims to raise crucial funds to support United Way’s programs that provide financial empowerment, food and shelter, and essential rent and utility assistance. With nearly half of all families in South Central Indiana struggling to make ends meet, the event plays a vital role in helping these families move from poverty to possibility.
