ELNORA – A late-night fire at a residence in Elnora prompted a multi-department emergency response on Sunday.
Firefighters were dispatched to 214 S East Street at 11:05 p.m. after reports of a garage attached to a home being engulfed in flames.
The Elnora Volunteer Fire Department and the Plainville Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene, working together to extinguish the blaze. Emergency medical personnel were also present, though initial reports indicate no injuries.
Firefighters successfully controlled the fire, and crews remained on the scene into the early morning hours to ensure the fire was fully extinguished and to conduct preliminary investigations.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
