MITCHELL– The community is invited to a musical showcase as the Mitchell Jr. and Sr. High School Band prepares for the Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) competitions.
A preview concert will be held on Thursday, March 27th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Mitchell High School Auditorium.
The evening will feature performances from a wide range of talented musicians, including the 6th-grade beginning band, the junior high band, the high school band, and the jazz band. Attendees will witness the culmination of students’ hard work and dedication as they fine-tune their performances for the upcoming ISSMA contests.
Admission to the concert is free, making it a perfect opportunity for families and community members to support the local music program.
In addition to enjoying the musical performances, attendees are encouraged to contribute to a worthy cause. The Mitchell Band Boosters will be accepting canned food donations at the concert. All collected items will be donated to the local food pantry, helping to support those in need within the community.
