Elizabeth Ann Long, 71, of Bedford, passed away at 4:16 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born October 20, 1953, in Bedford, she was the daughter of William and Carolyn (Howard) Bowers. She served as a nurse throughout her career, helping those in need. After her retirement, she worked at Becky’s Place, still wanting to help those in need. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed painting and crocheting.
Survivors include sons Robert Patrick, IV and wife, Heather and Jason Patrick and wife, Paula; grandchildren, Stacey (Caitlin) Patrick, Chase (Symph) Patrick, Nora Patrick and Hunter, Sameul Patrick, KyAnn Taflinger and Zach; great-grandchildren, Oliver, Zoey, Amelia, and Emmerick Patrick; brothers, Bill (Karen) Bowers and Joel (Sue) Bowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Carolyn Bowers
Cremation was chosen.
