BROWNSTOWN – The Jackson County Community Foundation and Purdue Cooperative Extension Service are gearing up for their 22nd annual Farmers Breakfast next week. The event will be held on February 12 at Pewter Hall in Brownstown, with doors opening at 7:00 a.m. and the program beginning at 7:30 a.m.

This year’s featured speaker is Michael Langmeier of Purdue University. Langmeier, a professor and extension economist in the Department of Agricultural Economics and associate director of the Center for Commercial Agriculture, will provide an agricultural forecast for attendees.
The Jackson County Community Foundation demonstrates its commitment to local farmers through various initiatives, including the Bob Myers Memorial Scholarship Fund, the C.B. Hess 4-H Memorial Scholarship Fund, and the annual Giving the Gift of Grain and Giving the Gift of Livestock programs.
