SANTA CLAUS— In what can only be described as a significant achievement, Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari has emerged as the big winner at the prestigious 2024 Golden Ticket Awards ceremony at Kennywood in Pennsylvania.
The renowned amusement park clinched three top awards, solidifying its position as a leader in the industry. Among the highlights of the evening was the recognition of the park’s iconic Wildebeest water coaster, which was honored with the Best Water Park Attraction award. This reaffirmed the park’s commitment to delivering top-tier experiences for its visitors.
Additionally, Holiday in the Sky, a breathtaking spectacle that captured audiences’ imaginations, secured the title of Best Innovation. The awe-inspiring drone show was celebrated for its groundbreaking approach, marking the first-ever audience participation drone show in the industry.
Not resting on its laurels, the park also received accolades for its new theme concept, Good Gravy!, which bagged the award for Best New Theme Concept. This recognition underscored the park’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of creativity and delivering fresh, exciting experiences for its guests.

Splashin’ Safari is still open on weekends through September 14th.
Both parks are closed to the public for a private event on September 15th.
Happy Halloween Weekends runs Saturdays and Sundays from September 21st through October 27th.
