COLUMBUS – The Bedford North Lawrence Marching Stars placed in first place at Columbus North.
On Saturday, September 7th, the Bedford North Lawrence (BNL) Marching Stars traveled to Columbus North High School to perform at their “Sound and Spirit of Columbus” Invitational.
The Marching Stars performed their show “X Marks the Spot ” in Scholastic Class AA (Classes are based on school and band size).
The Marching Stars show features music from “Seven Nation Army” and “Come Sail Away.” Their performance earned them 1st place in their class and the Best Music, General Effect, and Visual awards.
The Marching Stars will perform “X Marks the Spot” again for competition on September 14th at Lawrence Central High School for the Lawrence Central Invitational and again on September 28th at Avon High School for the Avon Invitational.
They will also perform during the halftime show at every home football game at Bedford North Lawrence High School. Don’t miss the show and the chance to support the Marching Stars.
