BLOOMINGTON— The annual Bug Fest returns to Karst Farm Park in Bloomington on August 24, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., and it needs volunteer help.
This popular event averages hundreds of attendees, with increasing attendance every year.

If you are an outdoor enthusiast and love to see new generations learn about the importance of natural resources, put that passion into action by volunteering with Bug Fest. Volunteers are needed to greet participants at the welcome table, facilitate craft areas and activity tables, serve as floaters, and run the toddler area.

Signing up to volunteer couldn’t be easier. Click here.
Upon registering, you’ll receive a confirmation email with detailed information about the event. If you have any questions, contact Emily Buuck, Community Relations Coordinator Bloomington Parks and Recreation by email.
This event is a collaboration between Bloomington Parks and Recreation, Monroe County Parks and Recreation, Purdue Extension – Monroe County, and WonderLab.
