Indiana Troopers Youth Services Inc. Career Camp gives teens hands-on learning about what it takes to be in law enforcement

INDIANA – Indiana Troopers Youth Services Inc. Career Camp gives teens hands-on learning about what it takes to be in law enforcement. Teens will learn about other careers and specialties within law enforcement.

Any child that is going into high school or that has graduated but not yet attended college is eligible to attend.

These camps are co-ed and are directed by male and female Indiana State Police troopers.

Career camps are week-long camps conducted at university campuses to give participants an idea of college life. All camps start on Sunday and end on Friday.

Campers will participate in physical training, familiarization with police equipment, conduct their own crime scene investigations, and hear from defense attorneys, judges, and other experts in the criminal justice field.

Each camper will find out what it takes to be a police officer, experience some of the same things officers do during their careers, and get to see other careers and specialties in the law enforcement field.
