BEDFORD — Liberty Church Road in Lawrence County will be temporarily closed to all traffic on Thursday, November 5, 2026, for a culvert pipe replacement project, according to an announcement from the Lawrence County Highway Department.
The closure will affect the stretch of Liberty Church Road located between Hidden Valley and the county line.

- Duration: Work is expected to be completed during the afternoon, at which time the roadway will immediately reopen to traffic.
Lawrence County Highway Department Superintendent Brian D. Sowder advises motorists traveling through the area to plan alternative routes ahead of time and exercise caution near the work zone.
