Alan Lee Salmon, 69, of Indianapolis, formerly of Bedford, passed away on August 12, 2026, at his residence.
Born December 8, 1956, in Bedford, Indiana, he was the son of Freddie and Mary (Newton) Salmon.
Alan was a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School, Class of 1975. After many years of dedicated service, he retired as a supervisor from Telecom Placement. He was baptized into Christ in March 2012.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tara Gail (Steve) Warren; his grandson, Steven Warren of Kentucky; his brother, Dan (Marybeth) Salmon of Kentucky; his sisters, Susan (Tony) Hutton of Bedford and Lisa Jenkins of Florida; his aunts, Evelyn Pridemore and Tina Newton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie and Mary Salmon; his brother, Mark Salmon; and his brother-in-law, Mark Jenkins.
Cremation has been chosen, with a private family graveside service to be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Cresthaven Memory Gardens
