Jill Jeanne (Scott) Tuell, 78, of Bedford, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Red Crest Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born January 2, 1948, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Thomas and Freedona (Sowder) Scott. Jill graduated from Heltonville High School.
She married Christopher Dane Tuell on August 12, 1966, and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2008.
Jill worked at Visteon until the plant closed.
She enjoyed gardening and flowers, going to yard sales, and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Dana (Chuck) Passmore, John Tuell, and Kris (Dale Patton) Tuell; grandchildren, Jordan (Sheila) Triplett, Krista (Chris) Tuell, Kayla Tuell, Chevelle (Eric) Strange, Christian Wykoff, Ethan Tuell, Owen Tuell, and Ava Fink; great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Mya Triplett, Clayton, Dakota, Kinzlee, Lane, and Rowdy Jones, Nova, Melvin, Malibu, and Hemi Edmonson, Ashly-Kee and Kayze Strange, and Joey Tuell; siblings, Rhea Dawn Young and Joe (Connie) Scott; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Christopher Dane; brother, Thomas “Tub” Scott; sister, Wilma (Sonny) Rife; grandson, Joshua Triplett; and brother-in-law, Leroy Young.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at the Limestone Chapel of George Funeral Care at 527 15th Street in Bedford. Burial will follow at Bartlettsville Christian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday at the Limestone Chapel, Bedford.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bartlettsville Christian Cemetery, in memory of Jill Tuell.
