KNOX COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 441 in Knox County.
Beginning on or around Monday, November 16, crews will close State Road 441 in Vincennes. This closure will occur at the Lincoln Memorial Bridge over the Wabash River.
This closure will allow for continued repair work to the façade of the Lincoln Memorial Bridge. This work is expected to last through mid-March of 2027, depending on the weather.
The official detour for this project is U.S. 41 to U.S. 50. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
