Brenda Kaye Turpen, 74, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Majestic Care of Bedford.
Born July 5, 1952, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Hubert Leon and Ruth Elizabeth (Jackson) Beavers. Brenda married Michael Turpen in 1980, and he preceded her in death. She loved gardening, crocheting, cross-stitching, and reading her Bible devotions.
She is survived by her children, Amy Hart and Ryan Turpen; grandchildren, Ariel (Stephen) Easton, Aleta (Rick) Wyatt, Riley Turpen; great- grandchildren, Emmett, Elliott, and Jasper Easton; siblings, Dana Beavers, Steve Beavers, and Teresa Doty. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a brother, Richard Sowers.
