Renate E. Rush, 69, of Shoals, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at her residence.
Born June 23, 1957, in Göppingen, Germany, she was the daughter of Otto and Elli (Borman) Tetzlaff.
Renate graduated from High School in Germany.
She married Norman Rush on November 30, 1973, and he survives.
Renate enjoyed gardening, flowers, and being outdoors.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, Norm; children, Jason (Cassie) Rush, Stephen Rush, and Josh (Robin) Rush; grandchildren, Alexis Rush, Londyn Rush, Andalyshia Stewart, Robert Stewart, Annah Salmon, Missy Salmon, and Abby Hudson; sister, Cilly Tetzlaff; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Helmut Tetzlaff; and several aunts and uncles.
Cremation was chosen per Renate’s wishes, and a Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date.
