MORGAN COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the installation of a temporary traffic signal at the State Road 144 bridge located just west of Interstate 69 near Waverly. The signal will become operational on or after Monday, September 28.
While the signal is in place, crews will complete bridge deck sealing and maintenance. This work is anticipated to be complete in early October, weather permitting. Delays are expected on S.R. 144 and for westbound traffic exiting I-69. Drivers should allow extra travel time or seek an alternate route, especially during morning and evening rush hours.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
