Raymond Lee Sullivan, 80, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026, at his residence.
He was born on April 6, 1946, to Charles and Dora (Reynolds) Sullivan.
Raymond was a hardworking man who loved his family dearly. He was especially proud of his grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them. He was a man with a big heart, a wonderful sense of humor, and always had a joke to share.
Raymond never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went.
Throughout his life, Raymond worked in grave digging, sawmills, and as a torch operator. He took pride in his work and in providing for the people he loved.
When he wasn’t working, Raymond enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, and hunting. He found joy in the simple things in life and in spending time with family and friends. His kindness, humor, and love will be remembered by all who knew him.
Raymond is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Norma (Sue) (Parker) Sullivan; his children, Reneal Hammer (Wesley Giles), Brian Sullivan (Jessica), and Rachelle Hughes (Mike); his grandchildren, Jarren Hammer (Danielle), Jayla Hammer (Kyle), Kaylee Price (Derrick), Alison Sullivan (Travis), Alexus Hughes, Hunter Sullivan, Remington Melton, Emily Melton, and Sarah Melton; and his great-grandchildren, Maddi, Oaklynn, Archer, Kora, Kalan, Koen, and a great-grandchild, Luke, on the way. He is also survived by his sister, Cathy (Eugene) Henderson; sisters-in-law, Janice Earl and Linda Sullivan; brother-in-law, Edward Parker; and several nieces and nephews.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dora Sullivan; his brothers, Robert “Bobby” Sullivan, Charles Sullivan, Wayne Sullivan, John Sullivan, and James “Jimmy” Sullivan; his sister, Janice Roll; and his grandson, Bentlee Hughes.
Raymond’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Though he may no longer be with us, his laughter, love, and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
