BEDFORD — Bedford residents can use the city’s compost truck service for green yard waste from November 2 through March 26.
Green yard waste totes are provided for a shared one-time cost. A 96-gallon tote costs $25.62, while a 64-gallon tote costs $20.60.
Residents are reminded that yard waste should not be bagged. Those who want compost service must call or submit an online work order during the dates listed for the program.
The service lets residents dispose of green yard waste while keeping it separate from regular household trash.
