Obituary: Lana Lynn Eicle

August 17, 1964 – September 8, 2026

Lana Lynn Eicle, 62, of Bedford, passed away peacefully at 9:48 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at IU Health Hospital in Bedford.

Lana was born on August 17, 1964, in Bedford, the daughter of Jerry and Linda (May) Andis. Lana was a deeply loving, generous, and fiercely protective woman who devoted her heart to the people she loved. Her family meant everything to her, and she would do anything to make sure they were cared for and loved. She was especially devoted to her grandson, Ayden, who was truly her pride and joy. Her fiancé, Terry Cummings, was her constant companion, greatest support, and rock.

Lana will be remembered for her immense heart, unwavering loyalty, generosity, and the love she poured into her family. She had a special way of making the people around her feel loved, valued, and protected. Her kindness, strength, and unconditional love will forever remain a part of the lives of those who knew her.

Lana was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Jerry and Linda (May) Andis, and her nephew, Dylan Duncan.

She is survived by her fiancé, Terry Cummings; daughter, Caylee Eicle (Jason Hanner); son, Cazz Eicle; adopted children, Jessie Abbott, Denae DePriest, Jesse, Joey, and Katie; grandson, Ayden Eicle; sisters, Anna Blackwell (Jason), Alicia Albietz (Jeff), and Carolyn Cazares; nephews, Jeremy Gulley, Justin Gulley, and Austin Gulley; and nieces, Grace Fountain (Billy), Chloe Perkins (Gage), and Addie Gulley (Arshel).

Lana’s love for her family was one of the greatest parts of who she was. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, the love she gave so freely will continue to live on through her children, grandson, family, and friends. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary, with burial to follow at Breckenridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at Day & Carter Mortuary.
