INDIANA — Guangzhou Ao Lian Ya Wang Luo Ke Ji You Xian Gong Si, doing business as Workbless, has issued a voluntary recall for approximately 2,200 electric pressure washers sold in the United States, along with roughly 657 units sold in Canada.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) warned that the recalled units lack an integral ground-fault circuit-interrupter (GFCI) and feature an inadequate cord length, posing severe shock and electrocution hazards that could result in serious injury or death.

The recall involves two models of Workbless-branded electric pressure washers, both finished in a green-and-black color scheme. Each unit came packaged with four quick-connect nozzles and a foam cannon attachment:
- Model WB0301: Measures approximately 27 inches high, 11 inches wide, and 8 inches deep. Labeled with “WORKBLESS,” “WB0301,” and “ELECTRIC PRESSURE WASHER” on the back panel.
- Model WB0302: Measures approximately 30 inches high, 15 inches wide, and 11 inches deep. Labeled with “WORKBLESS,” “WB0302,” and “HEAVY DUTY ELECTRIC PRESSURE WASHER” on the back panel.
The units were manufactured in China and sold online nationwide via Amazon.com, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Overstock, Target, and Walmart from April 2025 through July 2026 for between $97 and $140.
Hazard Explanation
The absence of a built-in GFCI removes a critical safety barrier designed to shut off power automatically if electrical current leaks into water. Additionally, the insufficient power cord length forces consumers to rely on extension cords, further elevating the risk of electrical shorting and shock during operation around water.
No injuries or incidents have been reported to date.
Remedy and Disposal Instructions
Consumers are urged to stop using the pressure washers immediately. To receive a full refund, owners must:
- Unplug the unit and cut the power cord in half.
- Photograph the destroyed pressure washer with the severed cord.
- Email the photo to Workbless at service@workbless.net.
After submitting proof of destruction, consumers should safely dispose of the unit according to local municipal guidelines.
