GEORGETOWN — Indiana State Police arrested a Georgetown man Tuesday following an investigation that began in May after multiple reports from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Detectives with the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in Sellersburg opened the investigation after receiving 12 cyber tips indicating an unidentified person had uploaded images depicting suspected child sexual abuse material to a Google account.
During the investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Aaron Scott Frost, 46, of Georgetown.
Investigators later obtained a search warrant for a residence on Ferber Court. On the morning of Aug. 27, 2026, troopers and assisting agencies executed the warrant at the residence. As a result of the search and the ongoing investigation, Frost was taken into custody and transported to the Floyd County Jail.
Frost faces two counts of possession and/or dissemination of child sexual abuse material, both Level 5 felonies.
The Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is a multiagency group that investigates and prosecutes individuals who exploit or attempt to entice children online. Agencies involved in this investigation included the Indiana State Police, the Jeffersonville Police Department, the Scott County Sheriff’s Department, and the Clark County Sheriff’s Department. The Georgetown Police Department also assisted.
The Indiana ICAC Task Force encourages Hoosiers to report online exploitation, solicitation or enticement-type crimes against children to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
