OOLITIC — The Oolitic Town Council will convene for a closed-door Executive Session on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. EDT. The meeting will take place at the RailRoad Cafe in Mitchell.
Pursuant to Indiana state law, this session is closed to the general public. Official notice indicates the council will meet to conduct interviews and negotiations with individual or commercial prospects, or agents representing industrial or commercial prospects.
The closed session is authorized under Indiana Code § Title 5 (State and Local Administration), Article 14 (Public Record and Public Meetings), Chapter 1.5 (Public Meetings), Section 6.1(b)(4)(I).
The current governing members of the Oolitic Town Council, all serving terms at large through December 31, 2027, include:
