MITCHELL — The Mitchell Community Schools Board of Trustees will hold an Executive Session on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
The meeting will take place at the Mitchell Community Schools Administration Center, located at 441 North 8th Street in Mitchell.
Board President Krystal Shetler issued the official meeting notice. The session will focus on two specific agenda items:
- Discussion of individual employee job performance evaluations, authorized under Indiana Code § 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(9).
- Communication with legal counsel regarding matters subject to attorney-client privilege, authorized under Indiana Code § 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(19).
Because executive sessions are designated for specific legal and personnel matters, these meetings are closed to the public.
The Mitchell Community Schools Board of Trustees currently consists of five elected officials:
- Krystal Shetler, President (term ending December 31, 2026)
- Chris Shaw, Trustee (term ending December 31, 2026)
- Patrick Redman, Trustee (term ending December 31, 2028)
- Steve Burton, Trustee (term ending December 31, 2028)
- Kyle Endris, Trustee (term ending December 31, 2028)
