CRAWFORD COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces daily road closures for State Road 237 in Crawford County.
Beginning on or around Monday, August 31, crews will begin daily road closures for S.R. 237 near English. These road closures will occur between Chapel Road and Magnolia Road.
Daily road closures will allow for multiple pipe replacement projects. Closures will occur between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. Work is expected to take a week to complete, depending on the weather.
The official detour for this project is I-64 to State Road 66 to State Road 64. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
