Gordon R. George, 59, of Judah, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026, at his residence.
Born April 21, 1967, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was the son of Ralph “Stripey” Deckard and Olive “Susie” (Mobley) Hatfield. Gordon graduated from Bloomington High School South. He was a self-employed drywaller and later worked at PRD.
Gordon married Trena Holt on August 3, 1985, and she survives. He lived life his own way and lived every day to the fullest.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Trena; children, Natasha Baker and Jessica (Timothy) Hayes; grandchildren, Emmalee Baker, Aubrey Gipson, Jaythan Hillenburg, Ava Hillenburg, Reed Baker, Bryleigh Baker, and Hadley Baker; great-grandchildren, Jakobi and Daxton; siblings, Anthony (Sara) Hatfield and Greg George; mother-in-law, Jay Holt; brother-in-law, John Holt; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rasheal George; siblings, Georgia Nichols, Gary George, and Grant George; and father-in-law, Russell Holt.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at the Judah Cemetery.
