Mavryk Lee Eugene King, 3, of Bedford passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Riley Hospital for Children.
Born December 9, 2022, in Bloomington, IN, he was the son of David and Madolyn (Eagans) King.
Mavryk loved being outdoors, riding his bike, mowing the grass with his dad and papaw, working with tools, playing sports, and watching Spiderman.
Survivors include his parents, David and Madolyn King; three brothers: Draven, Major, and Wynsten King; two sisters: Everleigh, and Oaklynn King; maternal grandparents, Brent and Crystal Eagans; paternal grandparents, Desiree Hall, Michale King, and Lisa Baker; great-grandparents, Jim and Taresa Baldwin; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Marty and Kathy Eagans, Charles and Carol Fender, and Linda Hall.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Millard Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Patton Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
