Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith appointed to National Lieutenant Governors Association Executive Committee

INDIANA – Indiana Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith was appointed by his fellow lieutenant governors to serve as an at-large member of the 2026-2027 Executive Committee of the National Lieutenant Governors Association on July 23 at the association’s annual meeting.

“I’m honored to represent Indiana and bring our Hoosier values to the national conversation,” Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith said. “Indiana is proving that bold, principled leadership still works, and I look forward to sharing what is working here, bringing strong ideas back home, and making sure Hoosiers have a powerful voice at the table.”  

The Executive Committee serves as the governing body of the association and helps guide its work on issues affecting states and U.S. territories. Founded in 1962, the association provides opportunities for bipartisan collaboration, leadership development, and the exchange of ideas to help state leaders better serve their citizens.  

As a member of the Executive Committee, Lieutenant Governor Beckwith will work alongside fellow lieutenant governors from across the country to help shape the association’s priorities, strengthen partnerships among states, and share best practices in state government.
