BLOOMINGTON — Indiana men’s basketball will take on the Arkansas Razorbacks at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City on Tuesday, Nov. 17, as part of the Bad Boy Mowers Series, the team announced Monday.
The neutral-site showdown adds another high-profile matchup to the Hoosiers’ non-conference slate. IU is also scheduled to face Syracuse on Nov. 9 and renew its rivalry with Kentucky on Nov. 20. Both of those games will take place in Indianapolis.
The matchup marks a notable reunion: it will be Indiana’s first time facing a team led by John Calipari since the 2016 NCAA Tournament, when the Hoosiers defeated his Kentucky squad in the second round.
Indiana holds a 2-3 record against Arkansas. The programs last met in December 2019, when the Razorbacks claimed a victory inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
The Hoosiers are entering their second season under head coach Darian DeVries, who took over the program ahead of the 2025–26 campaign.
After finishing 18-14 in DeVries’ inaugural season, Indiana is looking to bounce back and return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2023. A marquee non-conference schedule featuring the likes of Arkansas, Syracuse, and Kentucky will give the Hoosiers plenty of early opportunities to build a strong postseason résumé
